As a certified Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath, I discovered the true power of hormones and their impact on women’s health. From my early days in London to the Middle East and now Northern Ireland, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all over the world and witnessing incredible transformations firsthand.

I have always had a special interest in how the environment we live in affects our health. Our consumption of nutrients and toxins—the quality of the air we breathe, the water we drink and bathe in, and the earth where our food is grown—all play a part in our health. Living a ‘low-tox’ lifestyle is an important piece of achieving hormone balance and optimal health.

I am a registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, mANP) and Naturopath (mGNC), I see both adults and children in my clinic. It would be my pleasure to guide you toward a journey of self discovery in this exciting field.

Mould was 

making me sick

My health slowly began to deteriorate after multiple mould exposures. After a stressful international move with a toddler and a newborn, I was exhausted all the time, moody, and anxious for no reason.

I couldn’t sleep well and woke up exhausted, even after a good night’s sleep. I grew more and more tired and found it difficult to keep up with life’s simple demands, let alone a family with two young children. I had body aches and pains and zero tolerance for physical exercise.

My gut was a mess. I had multiple food sensitivities and a histamine intolerance. I knew the mould was making me ill, but I didn’t realise the extent of it until I moved out of that mouldy house. Once I began protocols aimed at eliminating mycotoxins, parasites and heavy metals, I finally began to feel better.

Slowly I regained

my health

Although mould may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back, there’s always more to the picture. For me, that was a combination of protocols to eliminate parasites and restore gut health, reduce heavy metal toxicity and remove radiation (from extensive international travel and constant EMF exposure). Slowly I regained my health, my energy and my vitality.

Showing up for life: A personal journey to regaining hormonal health and thriving

I’ll never forget the days when I realised how much hormonal changes affected my quality of life. I was so low on energy that I was not even able to handle the simplest chores. I felt as though I was missing so much of life since all I could think about was getting through the day.

That’s when I asked the question, “How did I get here?” How in the world did I end up struggling to manage my health, emotions, and whatnot? That was the moment that completely transformed my life. I started unravelling my healthy history and symptoms and began making small steps to improve my health. First by limiting my exposure to environmental toxins and then by eating therapeutic foods and targeted supplements to help my body heal. I also started to take action to support my natural detoxification processes and  hormonal health. That was the start of my healing journey to a new me.

Slowly but surely, I started noticing the difference. I was much more energised, focused, and happy. I was able to show up for my family in a way that felt truly present and engaged, and I felt a renewed appreciation for all of the little things that make life so unique.

Now, I’m thriving, and it’s my mission to help as many women as possible on the journey to healthy hormones. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to face the complexities of hormonal health. I also know that, with the right tools and strategies, it’s possible to overcome these barriers and regain optimal health.

My mission at Jill Dumas Nutrition is to support women in achieving optimal health by locating and addressing the underlying causes of their hormonal imbalances. I am aware that there are frequently deeper underlying issues at work and that a person’s symptoms are just the tip of the iceberg.

In my experience, a variety of factors, including infections, environmental toxins, heavy metal toxicity and stress can be the root causes of hormonal imbalances.
